Steinvik hatchery.
We have drilled a tunnel for freshwater supply to a smolt plant in Steinsvik in Bremanger municipality. The tune was drilled with Ø = 700mm and escaped up to Ø = 1100mm with the ND700HR rig. The project was completed on May 19, 2017.
Based on some discussion related to position deviations for the outcome of this drilling, after the drilling, a check was made of the measured point for scrapping and the desired hit point specified by the client.
The control measurement shows that carried out drilling between the chippings and the specified point of impact lies with a deviation of only 14mm in the vertical plane and no deviations in the horizontal plane.
We take this as a confirmation that our integrated systems for navigation and control are very satisfactory.
